Your day begins at Johanneshof Cellars. Here you will experience the passion and flair of a boutique wine producer. Visit the underground cellars resonating to the echoes of bygone centuries through which the modern winemaking craft has evolved.
Here vintage harvests rest and mature 20 metres below ground, in New Zealand’s first underground rock cellar. Taste some of the finest boutique wines, all handcrafted and amongst New Zealand’s most awarded Aromatic Wine
Travel from the boutique to the iconic Wither Hills Winery on the Southern side of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, lying in the lee of the Wither Hills range.
The winery and cellar door is an elegant blend of contemporary design and comfortable sophistication − an ideal showcase for Wither Hills’ superbly crafted wines in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Your exclusive experience here is a hands-on insight into the blending stage of winemaking. Wither Hills will profile various single vineyard parcels and vineyard characteristics, before you try your hand at blending your own Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Then to finish, you will be taken through a tasting of other Wither Hills wines.
Your lunch break is at the boutique Hans Herzog Estate, offering a vast array of highly acclaimed 
fine wines and world class cusine. Enjoy a tour of the single vineyard winery and barrel hall followed by a 3 course Gourmet lunch with your choice of wines in the Mediterreanean garden bistro.
Arrive at Cloudy Bay the Marlborough Winery synonymous with Sauvignon Blanc. Cloudy Bay has built a loyal following for its captivating style, but just like the wines, there are many layers to the Cloudy Bay story. There’s the dedicated vineyard crew delivering ripe, concentrated fruit to an inquisitive, free-thinking team of winemakers. And there’s the inspiring environment in which they work… a pure and pristine place of awesome beauty that’s blessed with a unique South Pacific terroir. Together they enhance the distinctive flavours of Marlborough and create a continually evolving range of wines that capture the essence of this special place.
The last sensational stop of the day is Makana Chocolate Factory – a delectable combination of assorted hand made chocolates. See the craftsmen creating the chocolates and taste the results. Take home a delectable chocolate truffle courtesy of Sounds Connection to finish off your special Marlborough day out
