Congratulations to Jo Sullivan 2012 Olympic Gold medalist Rowing Champ, pictured here with Sarah Grice of Sounds Connection

Picton is the home of the 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist Rowing Champion,  Joesph Sullivan.

Sounds Connection had the opportunity to catch up with him recently as he acknowledged the local community support.

This may be the closest Sarah will get to that medal, but be assured that the Sounds Connection delivers award winning service every day!

Sounds Connection has recently had one of its fleet vehicles sign written for the winter of 2012 to support the local rugby Club. It will be used as a supporter’s bus for the Waitohi Rugby Club Premier games around the Marlborough region. Waitohi was the successfully undefeated Premier team last season and we wanted them to do it again this year with a bus to take their supporters to the games to cheer them on

Sounds Connection and the Waitohi Rugby Club have received positive feedback from the locals about its appearance and support from Sounds Connection.

If you are a supporter of the Waitohi Rugby Club, look out for the sign written bus at their next game!

Mark Baxter of Sounds Connection has landed a huge 175kg fish to win a recent competition…

Sounds Connection hosted an Icon Adventurer in NZ Graeme Sinclair and his support crew.A great time was had by all and a good range of fish was caught. A Scallop dredge on the way home was successful and Le Cafe Picton cooked all the Seafood on Film to perfection.

  • Another great event on wine and food festival weekend

Music may run through Chris' veins but unfortunately it does not reach her fingertips or vocal cords! Luckily we have talented, local musician, Mitch Alderlieste (Winner of Stars in Your Eyes), to play our 'Lazy Sunday Afternoon' at Bladen Vineyard, 15th February, after Wine and Food Festival. More information to follow soon.
