Sounds Connection has been operating since 1993 and is privately owned by Mark and Maria Baxter.
Mark’s father and grandfather operated Fishing Excursions in the Queen Charlotte Sound before him.
As The Marlborough Wine Area has developed, the range and options of touring vineyards with Sounds Connection has grown.
We are now the leading tour operator in Marlborough and have developed wine itineraries for the whole Top of the South Area.
Our individual and group itinerary options are delivered with a level of professionalism and experience second to none.
Sounds Connection also has strong partnerships with accommodation, activities and attraction operators to tailor make tours or conference options. eg. land tours, kayaking, cruising. We also provide tailored options for South Island Tours.
